I have something new for sale in my Etsy store… #AGdolls #giftsforgirls

It might look like AI made the image above, but actually, I used my Canva account to design that image. However the quilt is another story.

It’s entirely made by hand, with careful hand stitching, by my mother-in-law, Anita. At 18 by 22 inches, this rail fence style doll quilt is the perfect size for 18 inch dolls like Journey Girls, American Girl, and Our Generation dolls.

It’s for sale in my Etsy store for $40 plus shipping.

In a close-up photo, you can easily see the tiny hand stitching between the strips of vintage fabrics used for Anita's rail fence quilt. The prints include a floral (probably from the 1980's), a repeating pattern of tiny pink hearts (likely from the 1970's), solid pink, and mottled burgundy fabrics.

I’m sure some of you do quilt, but if you don’t quilt, and you happen to have a daughter or granddaughter who needs a little quilt for her 18 inch doll, this delicately hand stitched quilt would be a fantastic gift!

This quilt would go great with a pink flannel nightgown or a pretty burgundy colored nightgown made of silky polyester.
