Learning to Sew with Advance 9938 Doll Clothes Sewing Patterns from 1961 #SewVintage #Barbie

The envelope for this printed doll clothes pattern by Advance includes the Barbie signature next to the Mattel Inc. "Toymakers" logo and displays colorful drawn images of the following doll clothes outfits, which you can make with Advance 9938: View one is a yellow and white striped sundress; view two is an oriental style business dress with pencil skirt; view three is a strapless ball gown; view four is a kimono style bath robe; view five is a tennis-style cropped tee shirt and a pair of shorts; view six shows a hat and swing coat. The styles of these outfits from Advance 9938 harken back to the early 1960's, when Mattel's Barbie was still new on the toy scene.
