Okay everybody, I’ve been holding onto these doll clothes, thinking I would eventually sell them with a Kaya doll I found at a thrift store and cleaned up, but it’s time to give up on that dream. I never ran across a Kaya doll at a thrift store, so I’m just going to sell these doll clothes for someone else to enjoy.
These lovely Native American style doll clothes have never been played with. They have literally been sitting in the box since I took my Kaya doll out to start designing doll clothes for her. Today, I’m putting them up for sale at the very fair price of $12 for the whole set.

I think, on eBay, a set like this that has been played with and is missing parts (like a few missing beads, a missing moccasin, or a missing belt) are selling for upwards of $30 plus shipping.
The day I typed up this blog post, in fact, someone was selling just the moccasins on eBay for $17 plus shipping.

My Kaya outfit is in nearly perfect condition!
Please note, though, that right in the center of the dress, the deerskin leather is a bit discolored. I think this is just from age because other deerskin dresses for the original (now retired) Kaya dolls also have this staining. Take a look at them on eBay, and you’ll see what I mean.

I do charge $7 for shipping and handling, but even with this extra fee, $19 is a heck of a good price for the full Kaya doll clothes set for the retired Kaya doll.
Navigate over to my shop page to purchase it, if you’re interested. You won’t get spammed with a million zillion emails saying “Make me an offer,” like you get on eBay.

But I think — knowing that my audience is aware of prices for items like this — these doll clothes will likely go fast. So please think about it before you purchase, look through all the pictures, but make your purchase in a timely fashion.
Why am I selling this?
In my “day job,” I work as a school librarian, and I happen to be on spring break. I really want to clean out some closets to make room for more sewing storage. These doll clothes were just another item taking up space in my closet — space that could be used to store fabric, notions, and sewing supplies.

Again, you must make your purchase in my Shop page. You can’t just drop an offer in the comments. You have to buy from my Shop directly.
As I said earlier, the price is $12 plus $7 for shipping, for a total of $19.00 (US dollars).
And if you navigate over to the Shop page and find that it’s already sold, please take a moment to look around in my Shop. There are lots of great doll-clothes-sewing-related items in my shop, like tiny buttons, itty bitty zippers, elastic in doll sizes, and sewing tools.

Have a fantastic Tuesday, everyone, and thank you for taking the time to look!

If you have any clothes for Josefina doll, let me know! I bought through Etsy the primary outfit. If you have others, I’m interested! One granddaughter’s name is Josephine, and she is learning Spanish.
Right now I’m making and designing doll clothes for my niece’s American Girl doll, which I’ll be giving her for her birthday in April. She’ll be getting a Kaya, but these doll clothes were my own Kaya doll’s outfit. Now that both my niece and I have the exact same AG doll, I may be designing more doll clothes for the 18 inch doll sizes, to post here on my website. But I probably won’t be selling any of my makes, as they’ll go to my niece.
We’ll see though. You never know what the future holds!
