The shorts are a pattern I posted quite some time ago, for Barbie, but as I said in an earlier LOL Surprise OMG doll clothes blog post, this little 9″ doll actually has pretty big hips, when compared to her waist. So Barbie-sized shorts fit her nicely!
Today’s blog post says, “for the folks down under” because October is a springtime month for anyone who lives below the equator. And I do have followers in South America, the southern half of Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Happy spring, to all of you!
I’m not sure whether or not LOL Surprise OMG dolls are available down under, but if not, there’s a list of dolls that will fit into this outfit in the first bulleted list.

To make the T-shirt, you’ll need some jersey fabric and some Dritz size 2/0 snaps.
The shorts will require some cotton small-print fabric and a bit of 1/8 inch wide elastic. I recommend Elastic by the Yard for your narrow elastics. I’ve had a lot of success with their products.
Today’s outfit will fit these dolls, but on the 11 inch dolls, expect the T-shirt to fit like a crop top:
- Momoko dolls
- Liv dolls
- Hasbro’s Belle dolls (from the 2017 movie)
- LOL Surprise OMG 9″ dolls
- Project MC2 dolls
- Rainbow High dolls
- Disney Princess 10 inch dolls
- Disney fairy 9 inch dolls (like the little Tinkerbell dolls)
- Petite Barbie dolls
