Sew a summer outfit for LOL Surprise OMG dolls with FREE printable sewing patterns– this one’s for the folks down under!

A Royal Bee LOL Surprise doll models her handmade shorts and a pink jersey fabric T-shirt in a room that has a mottled blue wall and a white floor. The doll has her left hand on her left hip, while her right hand is poised as if someone had just kissed the top of her hand, and now she has lowered it to her side. The shorts she wears are made of a white cotton with a geometric floral pattern in shades of blue, green, grey and yellow.

The shorts are a pattern I posted quite some time ago, for Barbie, but as I said in an earlier LOL Surprise OMG doll clothes blog post, this little 9″ doll actually has pretty big hips, when compared to her waist. So Barbie-sized shorts fit her nicely!

Today’s blog post says, “for the folks down under” because October is a springtime month for anyone who lives below the equator. And I do have followers in South America, the southern half of Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Happy spring, to all of you!

I’m not sure whether or not LOL Surprise OMG dolls are available down under, but if not, there’s a list of dolls that will fit into this outfit in the first bulleted list.

An LOL Surprise Royal Bee doll models a pink tee shirt over the top of a pair of white summer shorts printed with a leafy flower pattern in pastel green, blue, and yellow. Her shoes are turquoise blue. She looks to the left of the viewer.

To make the T-shirt, you’ll need some jersey fabric and some Dritz size 2/0 snaps.

The shorts will require some cotton small-print fabric and a bit of 1/8 inch wide elastic. I recommend Elastic by the Yard for your narrow elastics. I’ve had a lot of success with their products.

Today’s outfit will fit these dolls, but on the 11 inch dolls, expect the T-shirt to fit like a crop top:
