It’s still June, so I wanted to be sure to post at least one wedding dress before the month comes to an end! This one, which is really just a variation on the easy-sew purple felt dress with eyelet trim, will be super easy to make. Just add lace instead of eyelet, to create a wedding dress.
Today’s doll is a Kuu Kuu Harajuku doll, which I believe was designed by singer and celebrity, Gwen Stefani. Seems like I heard somewhere that Ms. Stefani actually sews too. That’s pretty cool, right?
I ran across my “G” doll (the doll pictured at the top of this post) at a nearby second hand store, and that’s what got me interested in Gwen Stefani and her Kuu Kuu Harajuku creations. I love how my G doll is so well articulated, and the details in her hands are amazing! She’s a wonderful little doll to dress and pose!
To make this “wedding” dress, all you need is a little bit of white craft felt, Dritz size 2/0 snaps, and some lace trim to attach around the bottom of the dress.
Today’s free pattern will fit the following dolls:
- Monster High female dolls
- 8 inch Bratz dolls
- Ever After High dolls
- 8 inch Breyer Rider dolls
- Spin Master La Dee Da dolls
- Mattel’s 9 inch Stacie dolls
- Hasbro World of Love vintage dolls
- vintage Sunshine Family dolls
