The Stacie-doll-sized shirt pattern I’m giving you today is one I’ve given you before, with other outfits for Stacie. We’ve used the same pattern to make a purple polka dot tank top from cotton, but this is the first time we’ve used the pattern for a felt shirt that will fit Stacie.
Please use View A, B, C for your shirt pattern, but cut the shirt out of felt. You’ll want to cut one on the fold for the front piece and cut two without a fold for the back pieces.
My “shirt tutorial” link will send you to a page where I show you how to make a shirt for the Creatable World dolls, but the instructions will be exactly the same for this shirt (except you’ll want to use the pattern from this page instead of the pattern shown in the video).
If you’re sewing this outfit for vintage Skipper, though, be advised that she can fit in the shirt as long as your felt is somewhat stretchy. If you make the shirt out of cotton, it won’t fit on vintage Skipper. Here’s a picture of my vintage Skipper modeling this outfit:
Today’s free pattern will fit the following dolls:
- 8 inch Bratz dolls
- 8 inch Breyer Rider dolls
- Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls (9 and a half inch)
- Disney 9 and a half inch fairy dolls like Tinkerbell
- Mattel’s 9 inch Stacie dolls
- Mattel’s vintage Skipper dolls
- Hasbro World of Love vintage dolls
- vintage Sunshine Family adult female dolls
- Mego 8-inch female action figures
