How well do you know your My Little Ponies? Can you identify this cutie mark? #MyLittlePony #Collectibles

A white plastic unicorn wears a removable plastic saddle that looks sort of like a ballerina's tutu. A small lavender plastic horse stands on the other side of a ruler, to show how tall this little toys are. The white unicorn is about 5 inches tall while the lavender one is less than 4 inches tall.

As my regular followers know, I’m selling a few of my doll-related items in my eBay store lately, to make room for new things. This week I’m selling two My Little Pony-esque toys.

I am certain the pony/unicorn on the right is NOT an actual My Little Pony brand toy. However the tiny lavender-colored one has me stumped.

An actual My Little Pony has a brand on its behind, which collectors call a “cutie mark.” This lavender-colored horse with a white mane and tail has a symbol like a crown, but the star in the middle of the crown “cutie mark” doesn’t match any of the “cutie mark” resources I’ve found online.

Can any of you help me to identify this little pony? Is it an actual My Little Pony? Or is it a knockoff? Here’s a closer look:

Here we see a tiny purple plastic horse with a crown mark on its behind. The crown is yellow with a small orange star inside. the whole image of the crown is outlined in orange. The pony is light purple (or lavender colored) with a white mane and tail.

In my eBay store, I’ve listed these as two knockoff My Little Pony toys, and my starting bid is 99 cents (US) with a Buy It Now bid listed at $2.99 (US). That sounds reasonable if they are not really My Little Pony brand toys.

But if this lavender horse is actually a rare pony, my prices are WAY too low! So please let me know if any of you are familiar with the My Little Pony family of toys and you recognize this little lavender pony as somebody special.

Feel free to leave a comment, whether you know something about it or not. I enjoy hearing your chit-chat on all topics related to this blog!

And if you’d like to bid on my sale, here’s the link.

      1. I know it’s literally been almost a year since you made this post but I do recognize this pony. It’s a knock-off. You can buy them in bags at some Walmarts in the party favor section, and there are adult versions of it that you can get at some dollar stores

      2. Well thank you for taking the time to respond to my question! Yes, it has been a while. I think I ended up giving the horse away instead of selling it. But it is very thoughtful of you to reach out.

        Have a great day! 🙂

  1. I just wanted to thank you and Rei Reddy! I picked this exact one up as part of a bundle of some MLP/Fakes at a car boot sale in the UK and it has been driving me crazy. Thanks to Google Lens, I found your site, and then miraculously, Rei’s recent comment! I can now sleep at night! Haha! Isn’t the internet wonderful?! I wonder how it got all the way over here from the party section of a random Walmart (says the American girl whose been living in the UK for 20 years!) Thanks again!!
