Hi Chelly
I am looking for a pattern for a one-piece mesh over swimsuit cover for Barbie. I bought vintage twist and turn Barbie at a flea market and would like to make the original outfit that she came with. The original outfit that she came in is a two-piece bikini with a mesh swimsuit cover. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I think I have something like that in my vintage patterns. When I get home from work today, I’ll look through them to see what I’ve got that you might be able to buy on eBay.
Elba, vintage Simplicity 4510 has a Barbie bikini and swimsuit coverup. It may not be the right type of pattern, as far as the design you have in your mind, but it does offer both a bikini and a coverup pattern.
There’s a free bikini pattern on my website on this page, as well, but I don’t have a coverup to go with it.
Hopefully this gives you a few ideas for your project.
