Here’s how to make your #FashionDolls a zip-front #winter #coat w/ free pattern @ ChellyWood.com

The zipper jacket shown in this video tutorial uses the zipper jacket pattern found under the heading: “Doll Clothes for Female 11.5 inch or 292 mm/29 cm Fashion Dolls (like Barbie)” found on this page.

As I’ve said before, this is not the easiest item of clothing to make. The beginning seamstress, taylor, or toymaker might find it somewhat challenging.

Need help printing my patterns? This link will take you to a tutorial showing you how to download my free, printable patterns. The zipper I use in this tutorial can be found at Zipit, an Etsy store for different sizes and styles of zippers.

If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. Overall, I love to sew, design doll clothes, and embroider, and I think it’s important to share my talents with the world, so others can learn to do what I do.

Want to show your appreciation for my free patterns and tutorials? Please do so by likingpinning, tweeting, and/or somehow sharing this video with others.

And finally, let me remind you that I’m offering a sweepstakes! Please visit this page to sign up to win a Barbie/Liv Doll-sized apron, smock, and hairdresser’s chair.
