This is the second of the two patterns necessary for sewing the little Swedish Traditional Costume‘s lace-up vest, which I’ll be showing you how to make this week. This is a re-post, but I thought it would be wise to let you know which two patterns from my Free Doll Clothes Patterns page would be needed for this vest project. You’ll need this one (Pattern F) plus yesterday’s pattern (Pattern A) to make the vest.
Tomorrow I’ll post the how-to video, showing you exactly how to make this adorable vest. (EDIT: The video I had planned for tomorrow will be delayed due to a YouTube glitch. When I get the wrinkles ironed out, I’ll post it.)
Do you like having free patterns to download and print? Please show your appreciation by doing one of the following: like my pattern on FB, tweet about it, and/or pin it to your Pinterest page. That way you’re helping to spread the word that these free, printable sewing patterns exist.
Also, remember to enlarge my patterns to fit a full-sized piece of US computer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) before printing. My designs use a 1/4 inch seam (standard for many doll sewing projects). This video tutorial can give you a few tips and pointers about how to do that.
And finally, let me remind you that I’m offering a sweepstakes! Please visit this page to sign up to win a Barbie/Liv Doll-sized apron, smock, and hairdresser’s chair.
