Let’s talk fabric! #Fabric #Spoonflower

Here we see a row of quite a few bolts of fabric. They range in color from deep purple to pastel pink. Each uses a tiny print.

In 2025, those of us who live in the US lost our beloved JoAnn Fabrics stores, and in the little farm town where I live, that was really my only source for buying fabrics in person. So I got creative!

I started to design my own fabrics with Spoonflower. Yes, they are more expensive, but Spoonflower is committed to an eco-friendly manufacturing process. And…

If you purchase one of my designs, it not only helps pay for the expenses that go with running this website (including buying storage space for the free patterns), but you get something in return… fabric! And who doesn’t love that?

From now on, the image you see below will appear on the home page. When you click on it, you’ll be taken to my Spoonflower store so you can see what fabrics I’ve added to my collection.
