This Halloween cropped tank top and retro-style Halloween cargo pants outfit was first posted, here on ChellyWood.com, to fit the Creatable World dolls. I’ve also found that it fits many other dolls too. Scroll down to see a full list of all the dolls that can wear this outfit.
But today’s blog post shows that it fits the Ideal Pepper doll, which is the little sister of Ideal Tammy. As such, it will very likely also fit Pedigree Patch, Sindy’s little sister.

You’ll find that the pants pattern is included with the crop top pattern, and I just love how nicely Pepper’s little hand can actually fit in the pants pocket!
But in the image below, you can also see that the pants are just a wee bit too long. If I were going to make them again, I’d alter the pattern so they’re about 1/4 inch or 6 mm shorter. I used a strip of 3/4 inch wide Velcro cut in half down the middle (cut vertically, down the middle of the long strip) for my back closure on the swingy summer shirt.
The pants are made of Halloween print fabric, but you could easily make them from stretch denim or solid cotton fabric. They use 1/8 inch wide elastic from Elastic by the Yard for the waist.
The shirt is made of solid cotton, and as I said, you’ll need some sew-on Velcro for your closure.
In October, I may re-post this outfit again, showing it on a different doll. It’s nice to see it again, as we get closer to Halloween.
