Let’s sew a reversible London Print shirt and super easy matching skirt for Disney Princess toddler dolls w/#FreePatterns from ChellyWood.com #DollClothesPatterns

Here we see an Elsa Disney Princess Toddler doll wearing a handmade skirt and sleeveless top designed by Chelly Wood, the doll clothing designer, YouTuber, and writer. The top and skirt are made of the same London Print fabric. The skirt has an elastic waist and is long enough to go just below the doll's knee. The background on this thumbnail is a purple cotton fabric with tiny white polka dots. The text reads "free pattern" and the Chelly Wood logo appears in the lower left corner of the thumbnail image.

This outfit was first posted as an outfit designed to fit Wellie Wisher dolls, but I wanted to add the image above to the Disney Princess toddler doll clothes pattern gallery. So I’m re-posting the outfit today with Elsa modeling it.

Today’s top uses a printed cotton fabric on one side and a solid cotton fabric on the other side. I used 3/4 inch wide sew-on Velcro for the back closure.

The skirt was made with a matching printed cotton fabric (to match the printed cotton fabric that I used for the shirt), and it uses an elastic waist. I recommend using 1/4 inch elastic for this project.

I bought the London print fabric at Michaels a long time ago, so I don’t think it’s available anymore. However, if you have your heart set on the London print fabric that I used for this outfit, you will be able to buy a similar fabric on Etsy.
