Petite Barbie dolls are actually closer to Skipper in size, but as today’s pants sewing tutorial shows, the Petite Barbies do fit in these Barbie-sized doll pants patterns. Petite Barbie wears them as ankle pants, whereas Tall Barbie dolls wear them as just-below-the-knee capris.

Your average Barbie and Made to Move Barbie dolls fit this pants pattern somewhere in-between ankle pants and capri pants, as you’ll see in the video. See the list below, to decide whether or not today’s free pattern will fit your 11 inch or 12 inch fashion dolls.

To make these pants, you’ll need some cotton fabric and 1/8 inch elastic.
