In the image above, those are tiny two-hole buttons, which are ideal for Barbie sized dolls and smaller.

Here’s the bulleted list of buttons and which one I recommend for various doll sizes. I copy/pasted this list from inside my online store, just for your convenience and today’s easy access:
- seed beads to use as embellishments for the tiniest dolls (not as a closure)
- teeny-tiny buttons on Etsy (for dolls 12 inches and smaller)
- small-ish buttons on Etsy (for 13-18 inch dolls)
- small shaped buttons (for 13 to 18 inch dolls) — flowers, stars, hearts, and circles mixed
- 5/8 inch (16 mm) diameter buttons on Amazon for 18 inch dolls and larger (can be used as functional buttons)
