As we inch toward Easter, it’s time to start your springtime craft projects, so today I’m posting this adorable skirt and shirt combo for little tiny 5 inch vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls.
To make today’s little white cotton shirt, you’ll of course need some solid white 100% cotton fabric and a few tiny size 4/0 snaps.
And to make the skirt, you’ll need some small print cotton fabric and 1/8 inch elastic.
When sewing a project this small, it’s best to sew by hand, in my humble opinion. For a hand-stitching, you might want to purchase some very small hand stitching needles (Dritz size 10 “betweens” is what I recommend).
