I’ve been slowly building up the pieces for this whole entire donut Halloween costume for 18 inch dolls, and today I’m giving you all the parts and pieces in one place!
I’m so grateful to my cousin, who runs the YouTube channel, ASMR Tingle and Taps, for challenging me to create some Halloween-themed outfits for my 18 inch doll because this project has been so fun to make! If you’d like to make today’s donut Halloween costume, you’ll need some size 1/0 Dritz snaps, some tan felt, some cotton fabric (as it says in the video, if you don’t have any candy sprinkles fabric, any pastel fabric with polka dots will work), and some regular craft felt to match your crop top with the straps.
You’ll also need a little bit of fiber fill (in the US, we sometimes call this “stuffing”) to make the donut-shape a little bit plush.
For the leggings, you’ll need jersey fabric, and any time I recommend using jersey fabric, I also recommend that you use a walking foot on your sewing machine, to make your life easier while you sew! Here are links to a walking foot for some of the common brands of sewing machines:

In addition to the jersey fabric, a walking foot, and some 3/8 inch braided elastic (for the casing of the leggings), there’s a large dart in the posterior part of the leggings, so it’s not a bad idea to have a fabric pencil for marking darts.
