Sew a skirt for Elsa Mini Toddler doll w/free patterns @ ChellyWood.com #DollClothesPatterns #SewingFun

A purple background square of fabric that's dotted with tiny white polka dots surrounds a photo of a Mini Elsa Toddler doll wearing a little pink felt shirt and matching pink print skirt along with the words "free pattern" and the ChellyWood.com logo. An arrow points at the skirt, indicating that the blog post will focus on the skirt, rather than the whole ensemble.

Like yesterday’s blog post said, I’m busy making a wardrobe for my niece’s mini Elsa doll. My niece’s birthday is coming up, and she asked for a few doll clothes for her 6 inch Elsa doll who only has pajamas to wear.

So today’s video tutorial shows you how to make a little Easter-egg-print cotton skirt with an elastic waist. You don’t have to use Easter-egg-print fabric though. Any small print or solid cotton fabric will be just fine.

You’ll also need a little 1/8 inch elastic for the waist.

I’m still kind of sick, as I mentioned in last Tuesday’s post, so my voice sounds really scratchy. Sorry about that. I made a mistake in the casing section of the video too, probably because my head is so stuffed up.

But I hope you can be forgiving and enjoy the tutorial video, in spite of these little imperfections…

Which dolls will these patterns fit?
