Here we see a Mattel Skipper doll looking to her right. She is posed with arms slightly extended. She wears a handmade set of under garments or possibly a swimsuit. The bra is a sporty sports bra style garment with white cotton jersey fabric for the top half of the sports bra and blue elastic for the bottom half of the sports bra. The straps are made of the same turquoise blue elastic as the bottom half of the sports bra. The underpants (or swimsuit bottoms) are made of white cotton jersey fabric with the same turquoise blue elastic waistband that we see in the straps and bottom half of the sports bra. The underpants elastic just barely covers the doll's belly button. These would be considered briefs in terms of under clothing styles. Here we have it! A full set of underwear — complete with sports bra and panties — to fit Skipper and other similar-proportioned dolls in her same size range.

Of course it makes a great bikini as well!

Please note that there’s a bikini top on the pattern page for the bottoms, but this bikini top is designed to fit Barbie and other dolls in the Barbie size category. It’s a little bit different in its design and its construction, so make sure you cut out the Skipper-sized swimsuit top / bra pattern specifically, when you’re making these doll clothes.

And as you’ll find on the pattern itself the bottoms / panties / knickers will actually fit both Barbie and Skipper, so don’t be confused by the photos on that pattern. In fact, these underpants will fit a lot of different dolls. For a look at all the dolls they will fit, please click here.
