l found this adorable Kuu Kuu Harajuku G doll at my local second hand store, and I’ve been enjoying making outfits for her. She has a very sweet face, and she’s highly articulated.

In case you’re not familiar with the Kuu Kuu Harajuku animated series and its characters, let me fill you in. This doll is the lead character who goes by “G,” and she is modeled after Gwen Stefani, who I’ve heard is also a sewist. I wonder if she only sews for herself, or if she has ever tried her hand at sewing doll clothes…?

Today’s free patterns will fit the following dolls:

Here’s the free printable PDF doll clothes sewing pattern for making today’s doll clothes:

*Use shirt view B and the short skirt pattern.

Please note that the tutorial video showing how to make the skirt (a link is given in the bullets above) leads you to a tutorial for making a skirt for the Mini American Girl dolls. Don’t be dismayed! It’s the same skirt pattern.

The only difference you’ll make is this: measure your Kuu Kuu Harajuku doll’s waist for the elastic instead of the 6″ AG doll’s waist. Otherwise, the directions are the same.

*For today’s pajama shirt project, use the shirt pattern that’s on the right, but only cut out one front (on the fold) and two backs (no fold). You’ll find the tutorial is for the other pattern, but the instructions are essentially the same.
