This week’s sewing project not only fits the little 14 inch (35.5 cm) Hearts for Hearts Girls, but surprisingly, it can also fit the 18 inch (45 cm) tall BFC Ink dolls. How can this be possible? Here are the sewing measurements for both dolls:
- Neck circumference… 9.5 cm
- Neck to shoulder seam… 3 cm
- Bust… 20.4 cm
- Collar to true waist… 8 cm
- Underarm to true waist… 4.2 cm
- Sleeve inseam (underarm to cuff)… 11.8 cm
- Sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff… 14.8 cm
- Sleeve circumference (full underarm joint)… 10.5 cm
- Waist… 16.5 cm
- Hip circumference… 22.5 cm
- Pants inseam (crotch to just below the ankle bone)… 17.5 cm
- Pants outseam (waist to just below the ankle bone)… 23.7 cm
- Pants leg circumference (upper thigh)… 12.1 cm
- Height not including hair… 17 and 3/4 inches or 45 cm
- Neck circumference… 10 cm
- Neck to shoulder seam… 2 cm
- Bust 16.7 cm
- Collar to true waist… 7.5 cm
- Underarm to true waist… 4.2 cm
- Sleeve inseam (underarm to cuff)… 9 cm
- Sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff… 10.4 cm
- Sleeve circumference… 9.5 cm (cuff)
- Waist… 15.2 cm
- Hip circumference… 18.6 cm
- Pants inseam (crotch to just below the ankle bone)… 13.5 cm
- Pants outseam (waist to just below the ankle bone)… 19 cm
- Pants leg circumference (upper thigh)… 11 cm

As you can see in the image below, these two dolls can swap clothes to some extent (compare to the photo at the top). However skirt lengths are going to look different on each doll, as will pants. But short-sleeved shirts and a pair of shorts will fit them much the same way.
Do you need help measuring your dolls? Here’s a tutorial video that might help.
Keep your eye on ChellyWood.com for the rest of the patterns in this series. Nearly all of these patterns and tutorial videos have been posted, but we still need to post the turquoise ruffled skirt and matching top, the shorts, the jeans, and the lace-trimmed skirt with rickrack.
