Then, rather foolishly, I included links to the tutorial for making this skirt:
Of course my regular followers wanted to know more about the skirt that I had designed to go with the Crissy outfit, the skirt that uses ribbon and rickrack…
So after viewing the other skirt tutorial, you were probably wondering…
- Where do you buy rickrack ribbon?
- Is this even the right video for making the Crissy skirt?
- How come the video doesn’t show us how to make that fancy trim?
In answer to these questions, I’m re-posting this rick rack video. It shows you the many ways to create your own trim using rick rack.
I’m also planning to re-post the Crissy doll patterns tomorrow with a new video showing me making the specific rick-rack-ribbon trim that you see on the Crissy skirt.
Sorry if that caused a bit of confusion. Hopefully this video and tomorrow’s tutorial will clear things up for anyone who wanted to re-create the exact skirt that I made for Crissy.
