The video above comes from the Catherine Sews YouTube channel. I love a good romp through fashion history, and Catherine (who like me is retiring from her teaching career to focus on her own creativity) takes us on a wonderful journey through fashion history in this video, which chronicles both men’s and women’s fashion, from the 1700’s to the 2000’s!

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did. You can check out the narrator’s channel, Catherine Sews, to see her upcycling videos, sewing method videos, and crafty tutorials of all kinds.

I’d like to recommend her video, “Top 10 Sewing Mistakes Beginners Make” for those of you who are just learning to sew. She has some great tips in that one!

This week, while I am on vacation in Chicago, I’m keeping blog posts short, but please keep coming back! Feel free to leave comments, both here on my website and on Catherine’s video on YouTube.

I’ll be back soon with more free doll clothes sewing patterns and sewing-related content. I promise!
