Today I’m giving you the free printable PDF sewing patterns for making the doll clothes shown at the top of this post: a tee shirt and a pair of jeans — but of course you could make pants/trousers for your doll with the jeans pattern.

Hairmazing Fashion Forward dolls have Barbie-sized hips with a Stacie-sized upper body, so the top she’s wearing was actually designed to fit a much smaller doll (6 inch American Girl, originally), while the jeans were designed (originally) to fit Barbie.

And yet this combo looks fabulous on my Hairmazing Fashion Forward doll! Thanks again to Chanda, my sister-in-law, for this pretty doll and all the outfits she has inspired!

In the images shown, she’s actually wearing Ken-sized boots! Her feet are much larger than a regular Barbie’s. I’ve found that she can wear 17-inch Endless Hair Kingdom Barbie’s shoes as well, but Monster High/Ever After High shoes do not fit her.

If you’d like to make this outfit, you’ll need some lightweight denim fabric, stretchy jersey fabric, size 3/0 snaps, and 1/8 inch elastic.

In my humble opinion, the best brand for elastic comes from a company called Elastic by the Yard. When you buy your elastic from Elastic by the Yard, you help support a small business which was founded on American soil.

If you navigate over to my online store, you’ll find that I have a link from there to Amazon’s Elastic by the Yard page, so you can click on “Shop” in the main menu here on ChellyWood.com during your visit to this website, and then purchase your elastic through my shop via Amazon, any day of the week.

Of course I do get a commission for sending you to the Elastic by the Yard page on Amazon, but I really do prefer their elastics, and in all honesty, I believe in supporting small businesses whenever I can.
