When I first started to work on this dress, I was designing it for the Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls, but it looks equally nice on Monster High, Ever After High, and all the dolls mentioned in the section just below.

For this project, you’ll need some small print cotton fabric and some size 4/0 Dritz snaps.

Please note: the pattern suggests that you cut the skirt on the fold of the fabric, but I didn’t do that. I used the skirt pattern without cutting it on the fold to achieve this look.

If you do want a fuller skirt, of course, you can cut your skirt fabric on the fold.
