Yes, yes, I know… You’ve seen this dress a dozen times before. I just wanted to share pictures of other dolls that can wear this dress. It’s such an amazing and versatile dress that fits SO many dolls!
Today’s doll is a Kuu Kuu Harajuku doll, which I believe was designed by singer and celebrity, Gwen Stefani. Seems like I heard somewhere that Ms. Stefani actually sews too. That’s pretty cool, right?
The Kuu Kuu Harajuku characters are part of an animated series. According to Wikipedia, “The show follows a teenage girl group called HJ5 and their manager Rudie as they live in a fantasy version of Tokyo called Harajuku City” (Wikipedia 31 May 2020). I’ve watched a few episodes, and it’s pretty fun to watch.
I ran across my “G” doll (the doll pictured at the top of this post) at a nearby second hand store, and that’s what got me interested in Gwen Stefani and her Kuu Kuu Harajuku creations. I love how my G doll is so well articulated, and the details in her hands are amazing! She’s a wonderful little doll to dress and pose!
