Segmented Image (2) showing how hems look on and off the doll

Here we see a close-up of the bustline of the swimsuit from McCall's pattern number 3429, from both the inside-out "wrong" side and from the right side as it appears on the doll. The image on the left is the inside-out bustline. Tiny clips have been made in the purple stretchy fabric, and Chelly Wood has stitched carefully along the edge of the garment to stabilize the clipped hem. From the outside, where the doll is wearing the garment, we can see that the stitches are slightly different in color from the garment's fabric, but these stitches are consistently small all along the bustline, and the neckline makes a nice even U shape against the doll's skin.
