For your free patterns and tutorial videos, please scroll down to the second set of bullets.

Since this time last year, I’ve received a dozen or so requests for patterns that will fit the Rainbow High dolls. So this year for Christmas, I asked my family and friends to buy me one. And guess what…

My “Secret Santa” from work (who turned out to be my actual BEST FRIEND in real-life) bought me one!

So with all the excitement of getting a new toy for Christmas, I’ve already designed a pattern to fit Sheryl Meyer, my Rainbow High doll, and that’s what I’m sharing with you today! YAY!

To make this little holiday dress for your Rainbow High doll, you’ll need some cotton fabric, 1/8 inch ribbon, and Dritz size 2/0 snaps.

Today’s patterns will fit these dolls*:

This is the JPG version of a free printable PDF sewing pattern for making Rainbow High doll clothes; specifically, you can use this pattern to make short dresses for 10 inch dolls like Rainbow High dolls, that have a curvy figure with a small upper body and wide hips. For the free printable PDF sewing patterns for making these doll clothes for your Rainbow High dolls or similar sized dolls, please go to ChellyWood.com and look in the 10 inch doll clothes pattern gallery. This particular doll clothes pattern will make a short, above-the-knee dress, with a heart-shaped bodice and straps. The strap pattern is optional, and the free tutorial video that accompanies this pattern (found at Chelly Wood 1 on YouTube) suggests using a 1/8 inch or 3.1 millimeter wide ribbon for your doll dress's straps. In this photo, a Rainbow High doll (the character Sheryl), models a handmade small plaid dress in the Christmas colors of red, green, and white, with a very slight black stripe going through the plaid as well. Her shoes are off-white with white straps. The doll's enormous eyes are framed in long black lashes. Her golden locks float gracefully all around her slight upper body. She stands with hands behind her, looking somewhat coy against a mottled turquoise background. The logo for ChellyWood.com is found in the lower right-hand corner of the photo.
