Sew a super easy outfit for your Moana dolls w/free patterns @ ChellyWood.com #MoanaDoll #DollClothesPatterns

Here we see a little 10 inch Moana doll modeling handmade clothes, including a super-easy-to-sew felt shirt and a pair of elastic waist pants. The pink felt shirt coordinates nicely with the pink floral print of the pants. The little doll's hair is swept back from her face in a cascade of tiny braids, and she looks slightly to her left, avoiding the camera. She stands in front of a blue backdrop that's mottled like the Caribbean Sea. If you'd like to make this outfit for your Moana doll, please click on the link in the caption. This week I’m focused on building a gallery of patterns to fit 10 inch Moana dolls. These patterns may look familiar to you because I designed them originally to fit Mattel’s Creatable World dolls. Then I discovered that they’ll also fit Mattel’s Skipper too!

In fact, the bulleted list below will tell you all the dolls that can fit into these super-easy-to-sew pants and a very basic felt shirt. Wait ’till you see how easy this shirt is!

Need some snaps for the felt shirt’s back closure area? I recommend Dritz size 2/0 sew-on snaps. With this link, you can buy 10 Dritz size 2/0 sew-on snaps on Amazon.

How about some elastic for your doll’s pants? Here’s a link to that product as well. I recommend the 1/8 inch white knit elastic (sold by PensPins on Etsy), which works great for dolls this size. I usually buy about a yard at a time, and that can make dozens of doll skirts and pants.

Today’s patterns will fit these dolls*:
