Sew a pretty summer outfit for Curvy Barbie w/free patterns @ ChellyWood.com #Curvy #DollClothes

This image shows a Mattel Curvy Barbie with a Mediterranean complexion walking in front of an ivy-covered building in the Montmartre area of Paris, France. The doll wears a pretty purple crop top and high-waisted shorts made of cotton floral print in a pretty lavender-and-purple shade. *You need to be aware that the list of dolls who “fit” these doll clothes patterns isn’t exactly right. Curvy Barbie fits nicely into the shirt and the shorts, but Lammily only fits in the shorts, and Tammy only fits in the top. The crop top is too small for Lammily, who has a bigger chest than Curvy, and the shorts are too wide for Tammy’s skinny waist.

But with that in mind, today’s patterns will fit these dolls:

The image shows Mattel's Curvy Barbie modeling a hand-made shirt with cloth-covered tiny buttons. Each button is encompassed by a floss loop, all hand-made by the seamstress who blogs here, at ChellyWood.com.

    1. Well, the “measurement tool” is just a guide to help you see whether or not you printed the pattern correctly. Lay your ruler alongside the one on the page. If they match, you’ve printed the pattern at the right scale.

As long as you’ve printed the pattern at the right printer settings, this pattern should work fine for your Curvy, just as it is. However if the measurement tool doesn’t match your ruler, then you may need to adjust your printer’s settings.

This is especially helpful for people who don’t live in the United States (which is where I live) because they use A4 printer paper, which is different from the printer paper we use here in the USA. That’s one of the reasons why I put a measurement tool on my patterns. It was requested by people who live outside the US, so they could also print my patterns, using A4 paper.
