I occassionally get emails from fans and followers who are having trouble printing their free sewing patterns from my website. Of course, everyone’s printer and device is different, so it’s impossible to solve all printing problems in one quick tutorial.

However these two tutorials are available on my site on the Home page (the main gallery), right at the top of the page. And these tutorials were designed to give you a few tips to help you re-size images for printing, just in case you find you need to re-size my JPG patterns.

This second video is a bit older than the top video tutorial, so please be aware that the instructions may be a little off, due to updates to the more modern MS Word program. However the basic concept is the same.

While I’m on vacation, I thought it might be a good time to revisit this topic and to point out that these tutorials are still available as links, at the top of the Home page.

Eventually I plan to convert all of my patterns to PDFs because that seems to be the easiest way for everyone to print them. In the past year, I’ve converted all doll clothes patterns for dolls ranging in size from 4 inches to 9 inches tall — so patterns for all dolls in these sizes should now be available as PDFs — and I’m currently working to complete PDF conversions for 10 and 11 inch dolls, like Skipper, Barbie, Tammy, and many more.

Keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck, and if you stumble across any patterns for dolls in the 4 inch to 9 inch size range that have not yet been converted from JPGs to PDFs, please let me know. Thanks!
