More thoughts on Monster High/Ever After High Doll Shoes #DIYCrafts #MonsterHighDolls

There's a pair in Christmas red and white with a gingham lining in the sole of the shoe, and there's a pair in royal blue with a royal blue lining in the sole of the shoes. These Mary Jane shoes will fit dolls with foot measurements of 4 cm long by 2 cm wide or slightly smaller. I have found that the pattern works for Monster High dolls, Ever After High dolls, Moana 10 inch dolls, and DC Superhero girls dolls.

Last week I gave you my pattern for Mary Jane -style shoes, which I boasted would fit Monster High, Ever After High, Moana, and Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls.

Unfortunately, I misstated. Sorry about that!

The pattern for the shoes I gave you on Thursday last week will fit the following dolls only:

I’ve re-typed last week’s blog post to reflect this more accurate list of dolls who can wear this shoe pattern.

The reason I had thought that Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls could wear this shoe pattern is because I created the patterns and tutorials about six months ago, along with this adorable loafer-style shoe that does fit Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls:

I tried to design these loafers to look a little like Toms shoes, but you could create them a little differently for a different look. The pattern comes from ChellyWood.com, a website that offers hundreds of free printable patterns for dolls of many shapes and all different sizes.

My pattern designs and weekly tutorial videos are prepped months before they appear here on my website, and between juggling my paying job (as a school librarian) and responsibilities to my family during the holidays, I was running WAY behind on my blog posts.

So Wednesday night, when I posted my shoe pattern, I made a best guess about which dolls I remembered could wear the pattern.

Later, when someone emailed me about the pattern, I double checked this information by trying the shoes on various dolls. That’s when I discovered my error. Clearly the small loafer is a different pattern than the larger Mary Janes:
