The World of Love Dolls and a Series of Free Doll Clothes Patterns #DollStagram #VintageDolls

As a child, my favorite doll was Soul from the World of Love doll collection, from Hasbro. I loved this doll for many reasons.

When you really love a doll, you tend to enjoy sewing for her, and that’s the case with my World of Love dolls. I’ve designed quite a few outfits that fit them, and only later discovered that they also fit other 8-inch or 9-inch dolls (and some taller dolls too).

So this week I’m going to share with you a couple of additional outfits that I’ve made for these favorite dolls of mine, but as you look at these outfits, please keep in mind that other dolls — maybe even some of your favorite dolls — can wear these doll clothes too.

For example, I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately to create sewing patterns for the Lottie dolls. Although they’re only 7.5 inches tall, I would venture to guess that these patterns will likely fit the Lottie dolls, and that’s what I tell people when they ask about the Lottie dolls.

But if you want to be certain the World of Love doll clothes sewing patterns will fit your 8 or 9 inch dolls, please scroll down to the second set of bullets. I have a link to the World of Love dolls’ body measurements, so you can compare them.

Doll clothes that I’ve designed to fit the World of Love dolls will often fit the following dolls:

You’ll find that all the doll clothes pictured in the wardrobe ensemble at the top of this page come from one of two patterns.

Here’s an image of one of those patterns for easy pinning on Pinterest:

  1. Were these the ones that had a record and a stand where they could “dance” on the record while it played? I think I had Flower.
