The image shows a tiny 1:6 scale sewing room with miniature sewing machine, coffee cup, fabric, ironing board, desk, glue, scissors, and a miniature tomato-shaped pincushion. Standing before the sewing desk is a Vintage Sunshine Family Mom or Mother doll from the 1970's. She wears a yellow felt sleeveless shirt that looks really easy to sew! And a pair of elastic-waist tan pants. Her plastic yellow shoes are loafers in a 1970's style. 1. My younger sister had the family and I seem to remember that she had the house. They were the parents of her soft bodied dolls that had a tree house as well as their own baby. It was funny as her dolls had different lives when they interacted with my dolls (who were more actors in my dramadies) than when she played with them on her own.

    1. My cousin also played like the Sunshine Family mom and dad were parents for some tiny “treehouse” dolls. What a small world, right?

  2. hi iam still playing with the sunshine family –also have grandma and grandma sunshine

  3. I have an extensive collection of Sunshine Family and the related Star Spangled dolls. I am sewing up a storm lately for updated clothes for my granddaughter and I to play. Your site is amazingly helpful!

  4. Here in Spain we also had the “Familia Feliz” with Juan, Ana and Dulce in the late 70’s. My sister and I were great fans and handcrafted lots of furniture and accesories with whatever material we could recycle, clothes pins for example. We kept the dolls for our kids and they also enjoyed them. Now, after so much use, joints and hairs are in really bad shape.

    1. ¡Me alegro mucho que sus hijos también hayan podido experimentar la diversión de estas muñecas de “Familia Feliz”! Gracias María por compartir tu recuerdo.

In English: I’m so glad your children got to experience the fun of these “Familia Feliz” dolls too! Thank you, Maria, for sharing your memory.
