I have been very hesitant about designing clothes to fit Ever After High dolls, due to concerns that many women in the online doll community have expressed: What kind of message do these inhumanly-thin-bodied dolls send to little girls?

I’m still on the fence about this issue because, in the words of Common Sense Media, the Ever After High show encourages kids “to stand up to peer pressure and heed their own values.”*

So all of the doll clothes you see above were first designed for a different doll, not Ever After High dolls.

When you click on the image, it may take you to a page that shows you how to make the outfit for a Breyer Rider doll or Mattel’s Stacey doll. But as you can see here, these doll clothes also fit the Ever After High dolls.

If you’d like to make suggestions or requests, please use the submit a question form. But please be aware that I get lots of requests.

Behind the scenes, though, I’m working to write and publish a book about my easy techniques for doll clothes pattern designs, so you can learn how to design your own doll clothes too. Please follow this blog for updates on my book and its publication information.

If you’re a publisher who is interested in publishing my book, you can find out more about how to contact my literary agent on the About the Designer page.

If you’d like to learn more about the Mattel‘s Ever After High dolls, please click on the links provided.

Note that ChellyWood.com is not connected to Mattel or its affiliates. However Chelly personally enjoys designing clothes to fit the dolls their company has created.
