My regular followers are aware that I’ve been setting goals for 2018 during the month of January. And I’ve been especially curious about who you are and what you want from my blog. I offered a poll on January 5th, and that first poll showed the following results:

• 32% of you want intermediate and beginner doll clothes patterns from ChellyWood.com
• 24% of you want doll crafts like DIY furniture projects for dolls 
• 16% of you want SUPER EASY doll clothes patterns for beginners
• 8% of you want doll sewing tips like where to buy buttons, how to buy fabric, etc.
• 4% of you want no-sew doll clothes projects
• 4% of you want hand embroidery tutorials for doll clothes & miniatures

But 12% of you sort of jumped the gun…! You picked “other” and named the doll you want me to design clothes for. What can I say? Great minds think alike!

My next poll–today’s poll–asks you to specify which dolls you like to sew for most. In other words, for which dolls should I design more patterns in 2018? Please tell me which doll’s clothing patterns you’d like me to design, and if you have a specific request, please leave it in the comments below this blog post.

As the year progresses, I intend to design clothes for the dolls you love best! So please vote! Have your say! It’s time for me to learn a little more about you and what you want most from my website and my YouTube channel.

Please note: you must enlarge my patterns to fit a full-sized piece of American computer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) without margins, before printing. These designs use a scant 1/4 inch seam (4 mm to be exact).

If you’re wondering why I make patterns and videos without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. My patterns are now available through “Creative Commons Attribution.” This means that I created my patterns (and therefore I own rights to them), but I’m willing to share them with everyone who will tell people about my website.
