This week I’m re-posting the free sewing patterns and tutorials for the cat costume (which is designed to fit most 11.5-inch fashion dolls), the ghost costume pattern (which fits little dolls like Chelsea, Polly Pocket, and similar-sized dolls), and the pattern for making the adorable little pumpkin candy basket that you see in the image above.
The cat costume includes a bodysuit, which is why it’s considered a kind-of advanced sewing project to make. See the image below for a preview of the bodysuit:
On the other hand, the tights are pretty easy to make, and for your convenience, I posted that tutorial last week. Here’s a link to that video.
The ghost costume and pumpkin basket are also fairly easy to make. In fact, last Halloween, I helped a group of 5th through 8th graders make the pumpkin basket, and they thought it was fun and fairly simple for a beginner’s project.
