Do you have a tiny container full of mismatched snaps? I know I certainly do, and some of those mismatched snaps go back to the 1970’s! But do you honestly think you’re going to locate a snap you lost 10, 20, or 30 years ago? Probably not! So what should we do with all those mismatched snaps?

Here’s an idea from Susan W, who posted it in a Facebook group I belong to: why not turn your mismatched doll-sized snaps into a doll-sized cloth-covered button?

I’m posting my “DIY Cloth-Covered Buttons” video tutorial to remind you about how easy it is to make cloth-covered buttons, but take a moment to consider the possibilities! Could you do this with your mismatched snaps? I bet you could!

Please note: you must enlarge my patterns to fit a full-sized piece of American computer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) without margins, before printing. These designs use a scant 1/4 inch seam (4 mm to be exact).
