Yesterday I showed you a preview of this project. Well here’s the tutorial! Along with this free tutorial, I’m providing a pattern:
It is, of course, the same pattern we used with the folk dress that I posted last week, but in this case, you’ll want to cut out pieces A and B. This particular dress can be created with or without sleeves, and as you’ll see in the video tutorial, it’s certainly a bit easier if you choose to make it without sleeves.
So if you are working with a child who is learning to sew, or if you yourself are learning to so, try making this dress without sleeves.

Thank you so much for the patterns. I’m a bit confused. I pressed the link to get to the 5.5″ Chelsea doll pattern. I was able to print it following your directions but then noticed that the title of the printed page says ‘Dress Patterns for 4.5 inch or 11 cm Dolls. Is the title wrong or is the link to the 5.5″ size wrong? Thanks.
The title is misleading. If I find that one doll can swap clothes with another, I sometimes re-post the same pattern under the other doll without changing the heading and/or pictures on the pattern page. It can be misleading, but it saves time for me. Sorry about that Monica. When I get time, I’ll change it.
