The doll pictured on the left, in her little purple kitchen with old west frying pan hanging from a hook on the wall is the veterinarian doll “Laura” (an older version of her) wearing a western shirt and jeans designed by me, Chelly Wood.

The doll pictured on the right, standing on the sand before a lake with mountains in the background, is a vintage doll from Hasbro’s World of Love line. She’s wearing the exact same western shirt and jeans.

So both of these 8″ dolls can fit in my patterns for the western shirt and jeans. In fact, I’m told the 8″ Stacie™ doll from Mattel (one of Barbie’s™ sisters) can also wear these patterns. I don’t own any of the eight-inch Stacie™ dolls, but a trusted friend does; she has used my patterns and verified that these patterns do fit her doll.

The shirt–with is yoke, fringe, and cuffs–can be quite challenging to make. However if you wish to skip the yoke, fringe, and cuffs, I don’t think it would be too hard for most sewists. And honestly, pants are pretty easy for even the beginning sewists to make. Now let me post these patterns for you:
