Visit ChellyWood.com for free, printable doll clothes patterns to fit dolls of many shapes and sizes. Image shows Made to Move Barbie seated in a white wicker chair with a brick background and wooden floor. She wars a handmade scarf of blue with white polka dots. Her dress, which is hand-sewn to look like an American flag, has more blue-and-white polka dot fabric in the right corner of the dress. The rest of the dress's fabric is made of red and white stripes. An image at the bottom of the picture says, "Chelly Wood dot com: free, printable sewing patterns for dolls of many shapes and sizes."

Here’s the lovely retro-style colorblock dress that I’m giving away on the OOAK Secrets Facebook page. (See link for contest entry and details about the contest.)

Of course, I’ll eventually post the patterns and tutorial to make this colorblock dress, so even if you don’t win the contest, be patient, and you can make a dress like this one, on your own at home.

I’d like to thank Angela of OOAK Secrets for hosting this contest. (For those of you who don’t know, OOAK Secrets is a facebook page where Angela shares her secrets about how to design One Of A Kind Barbie™ dolls. She often re-does their faces and hair to make them look like musicians and movie stars.) You can order her OOAK books here, if you’re interested in learning how to re-paint your dolls’ faces or if you want to learn from doll diorama experts.

Hopefully Angela and I can put together a similar contest later in the year, so please watch for that. We’re thinking about maybe doing something like this again, for Halloween.
