Here’s a quick look at my new sewing room diorama. As my regular followers know, I design doll clothes patterns (see link for my free, printable doll clothes patterns). The Liv Doll you see in the header image is supposed to look like me, and now my doll has a little sewing room, in which she can design her doll clothes (using a computer and printer, like I do) and sew her doll clothes (using a little sewing machine I bought online).

In the video, I give you a few of my tips and tricks, like where to buy a miniature sewing machine, where to find printables like the windows and computer keyboard that I made.

Later this week, I’ll post videos on how to repaint a pink-and-white plastic armoire for your doll’s fabric storage, how to re-paint and put together a Gloria brand desk, and we’ll revisit my ironing board pattern and tutorial (both of which had been previously posted on ChellyWood.com at an earlier date).

I’ve had lots of questions about whether or not my Jake Doll will get a jacket pattern. It’s in the works, folks, but be patient! A dinner jacket is not an easy thing to design. I’ve had some fails along the way, so it’s taking longer than I had hoped.

You’ll soon see a free, printable Curvy Barbie pattern or two here, as well. And since the dinner jacket is taking longer than I had hoped, Curvy Barbie‘s free printable patterns may pop up sooner rather than later. (I’m taking a break from my frustration to design things for Curvy Barbie.)
