Design #dollclothes for #Barbies or other #dolls

Since the new Curvy Barbie, Tall Barbie, and Petite Barbie dolls were introduced as part of Mattel’s Fashionista line, I’ve been getting a lot more questions on my website about how I design my own doll clothes patterns. It’s a little tricky, but in this video, I’ve tried to simplify the process for the lay person to attempt to do what I do.

However if this video seems too complicated, there’s an easier one, showing how to design a simple skirt pattern. I posted that one back on April 7, 2016.

Need help printing my patterns? This link will take you to a tutorial showing you how to download my free, printable patterns.

If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. Overall, I love to sew, design doll clothes, and embroider, and I think it’s important to share my talents with the world, so others can learn from my expertise.

If you are looking for patterns to fit a Lammily doll, you can purchase my Lammily doll patterns at the Lammily website. Try this link to find what you need. (I designed the Winter Wonderland and Cozy Wear patterns for Lammily LLC.)

Want to show your appreciation for my free patterns and tutorials on this website? Please do so by likingpinning, tweeting, and/or somehow sharing this tutorial video with others. Thanks for stopping by!
