Image of Mattel's tall Barbie, wearing a hand-made shirt and hand-made pencil skirt. The doll stands on a wooden platform overlooking a body of water. A painted lighthouse is behind her, along with a pier. The overlay says, "ChellyWood.com: Free doll clothes patterns and tutorials."

I’m really enjoying my new Tall Barbie™ from Mattel’s latest Fashionista line. But of course, she doesn’t fit in the other Barbie’s clothes exactly (although it’s not bad, as far as clothes swapping goes). So I’ve designed some patterns specifically to fit a doll of this size and shape. (I don’t own some of the more expensive, taller fashion dolls, like the Tonner dolls, so I can’t tell you whether or not these patterns will fit them.)

This week I’ll wrap up my Tall Barbie™ patterns with the pencil skirt shown in the image above. If you want to download the free pattern for the shirt, it’s actually the same pattern! But here’s a link to the shirt pattern’s blog post, and here’s a link to the post for the shirt tutorial.

I’ve also created a jeans/pants pattern for Tall Barbie™, and here’s the link to the tutorial for making those jeans.

The image above is just a quick preview of what I’ll be sharing with you this week.

Need help printing my patterns? This link will take you to a tutorial showing you how to download my free, printable patterns.

If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. Overall, I love to sew, design doll clothes, and embroider, and I think it’s important to share my talents with the world, so others can learn to do what I do.

Want to show your appreciation for my free patterns and tutorials? Please do so by likingpinning, tweeting, and/or somehow sharing this pattern with others. Thanks for stopping by!
