This is the 4-poster bed that will be featured in my stop-motion video of Romeo and Juliet, starring dolls like Momoko, Ken, Soul Doll (from Hasbro), Ideal’s Tammy Doll, and Barbie. When you watch the video, you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to make a bed like this.
Although I usually stick to designing doll clothes, this isn’t my first doll furniture project. In fact, my other furniture items can be found on my Crafts and Hobbies page. I’ll be showing you more doll furniture projects later in the week, so bookmark my page and come back later, if you’d like to see more.
If you’re here for free sewing patterns, don’t worry; I’ll return to that concept shortly. I’m busy getting my patterns for Tall Barbie and her companions ready to post. Meanwhile, my free patterns can be found on this page, which is titled, “Doll Clothes Patterns” (see top menu).
Need help printing my patterns? This link will take you to a tutorial showing you how to download my free, printable patterns.
If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. Overall, I love to sew, design doll clothes, and embroider, and I think it’s important to share my talents with the world, so others can learn to do what I do.
