Free #Sewing #Pattern for Ken Doll #Prince Clothes

Here’s my pattern for sewing Ken a prince costume. If you look at yesterday’s post, you can see how the costume will look when finished. Tomorrow’s post will be a tutorial on how to sew the jacket. Thursday, I’ll post a tutorial on how to make the pants. Friday I’ll add links to Barbie clothes tutorials and patterns that would go well with this costume.

Remember, when you print this, you want to make sure the pattern is enlarged to fit a normal-sized piece of printer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm), otherwise it won’t fit your doll. For this one, you should probably turn it on its side. You can see the hole punches in the original; those go along the left-hand side of the paper. If you have any problems downloading or getting the image to print properly, feel free to message me through my “Submit a Question” button. I’d be happy to send you the pattern.

It’s always nice if you help promote my website by liking this on Facebook, pinning it to your Pinterest page, tweeting about it, blogging about it, etc… I really appreciate all the folks who show their gratitude by sharing!

  1. Thank you for posting this. I tried coming up with my own pattern and got only so-so results. Now I’ll see how our patterns differ.

I am making a costume for a painting that my husband, the artist Kevin Grass, plans to paint. This one is supposed to be a parody of Fragonard’s “The Swing.” You can see the costumes I made by winging it for his interpretation of Botticelli’s “Primavera” when you go to his website at http://www.kevingrass.art

    Thanks again!
