what paper size do i need to print the pattern ? a4? “Make sure it is large enough to fill the whole printed page. Otherwise it won’t fit your doll.”
I’m talking about ordinary printer paper in the US. That means it’s 8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm. I hope this helps! Send me a message if you need more info. My “Submit a Question” page is a good way to get a message directly to me.
The entire rest of the world uses International Standard paper sizes, so sadly your patterns are essentially of no use except within the US. Such a pity.

When I post each pattern, I try to remember to include millimeter measurements. That way, as long as you have a ruler on your word-processing page, you should be able to use my patterns, adjusting them to fit any paper size. If there’s anything more I can do to help you, please let me know. I really want people to be able to use my patterns, regardless of where they call home!
This page offers inches-to-centimeters and inches-to-millimeter conversions, both for doll sizes and for the size of the paper. I hope that helps.
I printed out on A4 paper (I live in Sweden) with no problem. There is not that much difference between the 2 paper sizes after all. 🙂

I’m also going to look into purchasing some A4 paper, to make sure my patterns are useful worldwide. I’m very glad Diana brought this to my attention. 🙂
I just found your site, it looks very extensive and looking forward to checking out your list. You have a lot of costumes and designs I have been looking for. When my daughter was a little girl (over 40 years ago) I made her doll clothes. I started making and designing doll clothes when I was about 8 – 10 years. Wanted to become a dress designer and Barbie was the best model to use.
